We complain that the NSA is spying on us but we can own a drone camera – DJI Inspire 1 – “Vintage”

We can complain all day about how the NSA is spying on us, but we fail to realize that we purchase the equipment for them to do so. We literally buy into the fact that we assist in surveillance. I took this Instagram picture while in a Sprint store a couple months ago. I thought to myself, it was only two years ago I was reporting on the drone surveillance being done on Americans and how they are implementing and using the new technology on us. Now they are equipping us to surveil ourselves and we don’t even realize it.

Don’t you notice how they desensitize things by making it seem like it’s something innocent and fun? I’ve been consistently saying this on my radio show. Like those Onstar commercials. Someone gets in a car accident and no one is around to help you, but the onstar operator knows you had an accident. The operator communicates with you and knows exactly what happened to your vehicle and your location while being miles away behind a computer screen.

That sounds like an ideal gadget in a time of need? Of course it does. Who wouldn’t want that type of technology in a vulnerable situation? But do you notice how they market products by triggering our emotions? Americans are impulsive buyers.

Big brother is really watching. You can’t go anywhere without seeing a camera. There is a campaign that DHS promotes U.S. citizens to report or some would say “snitching” on their neighbors. “If you see something say something.” The majority of Americans owns a cell phone with camera and video capabilities. Whenever something happens, we’ve been equipped and programmed to pull out a cell phone camera to record before helping someone.

Check out this promotional video for the new DJI drone/camera. I’ll admit the technology is cool and I can see folks standing in line spending their money during the holiday season buying it up!

I do agree with you that drones present a potential danger to us. But on the other hand, the danger is present anyway. Drones will make it just simpler for NSA and other bureaus to constantly watch us. The problem is not the technology, but those who use it. Am I against military deploying drones to kill people? NO. Am I for drones to search for missing persons? YES. By saying that our money can potentially make drone business grow faster is not correct. But it is just my view – and I have to be honest with you – I’m going to buy drone for my own business, because it is a] efficient, b] cheap, c] fun.
