FLOW OF WISDOM®

So the other night as I’m watching “Son’s of Guns” on the Discovery Channel while cleaning my gun, reading my bible and talking to my wife about the election and current events. She says to me, “Babe, I think you’re turning into a gun-toting, hillbilly republican.”

We looked at each other and burst out laughing. It sounded so funny to hear considering the fact that I embody heavy influences of hip hop. And the fact that I don’t claim any political party and I just don’t fit the criteria of a hillbilly. At least I don’t think so.

Nonetheless, this post may not help in my denial of my lovely wife’s accusations, but I think its timely. I want you to check out this song by country music star, Trace Adkins “Tough People Do.” Whether you like country music or not, if you’re an American or wherever you may be in the world and dealing with some tough times (which many of us are), this song should resonate with you.

The chorus goes like this, “Tough Times Never Last…..But Tough People Do.”
