I must be honest with you, something does not set right in my spirit when I read this article. Best selling author and Pastor, Rick Warren along with many other leaders across the globe will come together to meet with Pope Francis.
The more I unravel the deceit and corruption stemming from the infrastructure of the Roman Catholic Church the more I’m weary of anyone joining any affiliation with them. This is not a knock against the people that claim to be Catholics, but merely a focus on the core foundation of the organization and the things that they do.
Coming up this Sunday, November 16, 2014 on Flow Of Wisdom radio I will interview Kevin Annett who will share some very horrific details that he has exposed while a member of the Catholic church. You will be able to listen to the show live on-line 3-5pm eastern here.
In an article on ChristianNews.net, Warren is quoted saying,
“[Pope Francis] is doing everything right. You see, people will listen to what we say if they like what they see,” Warren stated on Catholic television network EWTN earlier this year. “His kissing of this deformed man, his loving the children, this authenticity, this humility, the caring for the poor; this is what the whole world expects Christians to do. And when they go, ‘Oh, that’s what a Christian does.’—In fact, there was a headline here in Orange County—and I loved the headline—I saved it. It said, ‘If you love Pope Francis, you’ll love Jesus.’”
Rick Warren’s statements do not set right with me. What do you think? Is this some ‘conspiracy’ meeting to form a one world religion? If you are a christian, what do you think of Rick Warren’s efforts of getting cozy with the Jesuit Pope Francis?
