Thanks to pieces like this one, Billboard is one of those publications that’s cementing a legacy of putting together creative ways to interview artists. N.W.A. season is at its peak right now, and what better way to get the group to open up than by chatting with a rapper who’s been directly influenced by their music – Kendrick Lamar.
From the onset of the video, it’s obvious that the To Pimp a Butterfly emcee is just a little bit starstruck from seeing the group of pioneers together. And it’s awesome because lord knows how giddy I’d be if I was in a room with Dre and Cube to ask them questions.
