FLOW OF WISDOM: The Corporate invasion of Africa – Ebola Diamonds (Interview with PD Lawton)

The original air date of this show was Sunday December 7, 2014 Hour one.

My interview with PD Lawton covers the invasion of greedy corporations in Africa. It has been reported that they are using Ebola to pursue raw materials and resources such as a rare form of diamonds that the continent has to offer.

PD Lawton is a writer and researcher of African affairs who is originally from South Africa but currently resides in France.

Although I’ve been communicating with my guest PD Lawton over past several month’s through email, I never knew that PD was a woman. You will find my reaction very funny in the opening of the interview.

Nonetheless, PD explains how it’s a systematic breakdown of African economies with engineered poverty and disease induced throughout the continent which is being implemented by ruthless corporations.

She also shared how it was reported that residents of certain countries in Africa were trying to force the Red Cross out because they believed they were infecting people with an ebola-like virus through vaccines.

One of the startling statements Lawton made was there were 11 million murders by rebel armies since 1996. In the last few weeks alone, over thirty-five thousand people have been displaced throughout the eastern Congo.

When President Obama sent several thousands of troops to Africa to “fight ebola,” she asked the question, “why send thousands of troops and not nurses? Why militarize the region?”

Her website is africanagenda.net.

Isn’t it funny? Our “democracy” lies on the slave labor of illegal African mines and then on the almost slave labor of Chinese, Cambodian or Vietnamese. In the end, we have bought our iPhone just to feel socially integrated with our peers. And the money we spent was used to fasten the police and army control over our lives, and maintain the same status quo we have been criticizing. Police drones, riot cars, brainwashed individuals, all in one.
