During the protests in Ferguson after the shooting death of Mike Brown by police officer Darren Wilson, St. Louis rapper and activist Tef Poe was on the front lines.
Since the protests he has traveled to the United Nations and received national media coverage. He used those platforms to promote the injustices in Ferguson and to demand change.
During our conversation we covered a bevy of subjects. Including his trip to the United Nations with the parents of Mike Brown, his trip to Palestine and conversations he’s had with Harry Belafonte and more.
He is one of the many young leaders of this generation we need to pay attention to for years to come.
Below is the first hour. The second hour will be posted separately, so be sure to sign up to get email updates when a new post is available.
