This is the second hour of my conversation with the St. Louis rapper/activist Tef Poe. Tef Poe was on the front lines of the Ferguson protests and garnered media attention from major media outlets.
During this hour, Tef shares how he met the great Harry Belafonte and how their relationship has forged into a mentorship.
One of the most heartfelt portion of this interview was about his trip to Palestine. While their he and others were detained coming into the country and leaving. The story got deep when he met an “Afro-palestinian” and the message he told Tef to share with black people in America is touching.
Another subject we discussed was his views on white supremacy. An interesting point Tef brought up was the fact that there were several agendas at play in Ferguson prior to the Mike Brown shooting. One which was a plan for gentrification already in place for Ferguson among other things.
Sean I’ve got CIA Dr. Robert Duncan willing to be on the show Sunday March 1, 2015. What time should we call in?
